SHAH ALAM: The Sultan of Selangor Sultan Sharafuddin Idris Shah and the Tengku Permaisuri of Selangor Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin on Thursday launched the 'Stray Free Selangor (SFS) - The Humane and Compassionate Means' marketing campaign.

Becoming a member of them in launching the marketing campaign was the Raja Muda of Selangor Tengku Amir Shah. Additionally current was Selangor Menteri Besar Datuk Seri Mohamed Azmin Ali.

Tengku Permaisuri Norashikin is the royal patron of the marketing campaign, which is organised by the Selangor Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals (SPCA).

The SFS marketing campaign focuses on educating the general public on humane and compassionate means of treating stray animals, in addition to to encourage all quarters to work collectively to spay or neuter stray animals and supply shelter for them.

Selangor SPCA patron Tan Sri Lee Lam Thye stated the marketing campaign, the primary to be organised by a non-governmental organisation within the nation, aimed to regulate the stray inhabitants.
