U.S. healthcare conglomerate Johnson & Johnson turned the newest firm to droop all digital promoting on Google's YouTube, over considerations that its advertisements might have appeared on channels that broadcast offensive movies.

Wi-fi carriers Verizon and AT&T stated on Wednesday they might droop digital promoting on YouTube, becoming a member of an inventory of well-known British manufacturers comparable to retailer Marks and Spencer Group Plc deserting Alphabet Inc's Google.

J&J stated it needed to make sure that its product promoting didn't seem on channels that promote "offensive content material." 

Google has come underneath hearth for advertisements showing alongside movies on YouTube carrying homophobic or anti-Semitic messages.
